What is RSS?

RSS stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’ and you can think of it kind of like a news feed.

Instead of having to check up on your favourite sites to see what’s been added since last time you visited, you can use RSS to be automatically notified every time new content is added to your favourite sites.

All you need is an RSS Reader, such as Google Reader (www.google.com/reader) or you may already have your own home page with a service such as iGoogle (http://www.google.com/ig) or My Yahoo (http://my.yahoo.com/) or My MSN (http://my.msn.com/) which also allow you to follow RSS feeds.

Once you have your RSS Reader, simply find the sites you are interested in that offer RSS feeds.

You can subscribe to the Universal Events Blog BIGideas via RSS, simply by clicking here.
