Here is some information to help you get the best out of the Affiliate program.

What does being an Affiliate mean?

As an Affiliate you receive:

1. Complimentary entry to Breakthrough to Success for your guests, a saving of $895 per ticket for them.
2. 5% CASH (effective from 15 August 2008) on any training your guests join us for. Yes, you earn 5% of the training fee paid (excluding GST) as a cash reward paid directly to you.
3. Exclusive access to live tele-classes with the Christopher Howard Training Team.
4. Special recognition and rewards for Top Performing Affiliates.

Fantastic! So, who can I refer as guests?

Well, you can’t refer yourself. But please refer friends, family, colleagues, work-mates, customers and clients who you believe would benefit from the program.

We ask you to act with integrity at all times when promoting Christopher Howard Events programs. Please only refer people who intend to fully participate and affect change within themselves and their lives.

As long as your guest is not already on our database (i.e. they have not already been referred by another Affiliate), you are automatically listed as their “Affiliate” and any cash rewards that come from their attendance will come back to you.

People can only ever have one Universal Events Affiliate - once their Affiliate is assigned it never changes.

How long will I be the Affiliate for my Guests?

In a word: forever. When someone who isn’t already on our database enrols in Breakthrough to Success as your guest, you are assigned as their Affiliate. You remain their Affiliate forever, even if they are invited to Breakthrough to Success by another Affiliate in the future. This system rewards our Affiliates for taking action to invite their guests to Breakthrough to Success before anyone else does.

How the Program works

You need a reliable email account and web access, as the Affiliate Program is operated entirely on the internet. Once you start referring guests, we will create your log in and send you the details. You will be able to check your progress on-line.

When a guest first joins the Universal Events database, their Affiliate is assigned solely and automatically based on the invitation they use to enrol in Breakthrough to Success. While we realise that sometimes several Affiliates may have encouraged a particular guest to attend Breakthrough to Success, we cannot possibly judge whose influence was the greatest.

All the participant has to do is attend a paid training. Once the money-back guarantee period has expired and approx 45 days after the training is complete you will be paid your cash reward via bank transfer to your account or by cheque. Your cash reward for their training is based on the net fee paid. If a participant cancels their training or have their fees refunded for any reason, then no cash reward will be paid.

Universal Events may amend or terminate the Affiliate Program, in part or in its entirety, at any time.

Universal Events will apply every effort to keep its website current and operational. However, technical difficulties may arise from time to time, resulting in temporary service interruptions. Universal Events will not be held responsible for such interruptions and any subsequent loss of Affiliate commissions.

Universal Events and The Christopher Howard Companies reserves the right to withdraw any Affiliate from this program if they wilfully abuse the integrity of this program or if they have brought the name of Universal Events or Christopher Howard into disrepute.

The last bit of fine print, is that you won’t be paid a cash reward for your own personal training – that goes instead to the Affiliate who referred you.

Your Responsibilities

As you can appreciate, any materials we supply to you with are copyright protected and cannot be duplicated without express written permission from Universal Events. Anything created outside of these materials must be approved by us prior to use. This includes, but is not limited to newspaper ads, newsletters, e-mail promotions, websites, BLOGs, Forums, newsgroups and audio media. Violation of this will result in suspension of your Affiliate account. Persistent abuse will result in termination of our affiliate relationship.

Under no circumstances can affiliates register domain names using any of our associated brand names to market our services. Registering domain names with variants of Christopher Howard’s name, Breakthrough to Success or any related brand is a breach of Affiliate Program terms and conditions.

Any published material such as websites to promote your Breakthrough invitations using our copyright material must CLEARLY show the nature of your relationship with the Christopher Howard businesses to be that of an independent Affiliate. Any attempt to "pass off" your website, business or yourself as representing Christopher Howard in any other capacity is a serious breach of Affiliate Program terms and conditions.

Please note that we actively monitor the search engines, community websites etc in order to vigorously protect our brands and enforce these terms and conditions. Any breach of the program terms and conditions may result in the suspension of your Affiliate account with us. Persistent abuse or ongoing failure to correct a breach will result in termination of our Affiliate relationship.

The Big Picture

We created the Affiliate Program to provide an incentive for spreading the word about Christopher Howard and Breakthrough to Success to new audiences - people who aren’t yet involved.

It clearly follows that we like to see our Affiliates promoting Breakthrough to Success in new markets, often alongside promotion for their own products and services. This will generate the greatest income for you from the Affiliate Program while expanding awareness of Chris Howard and our events – a win/win outcome.

Attempting to “piggy back” on other people’s marketing efforts by, for example, registering Chris Howard-derivative domains or paying for Chris Howard-related search engine marketing is ultimately unproductive in terms of the financial results you’ll achieve from the Affiliate Program.

Instead, use your own unique knowledge, creativity and personality to their fullest extent in your marketing efforts. You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve that way.
